It's official. As of last Friday, Ellie has passed beginning swim lessons with flying colors. Everyday was a struggle gettting her there, but once she got in the pool, it was hard to get her out. She loves the water!
Way to go on the great new blog Milne's! The site is great, the girls are adorable (and so is the back of Mark's finely-groomed head in the beach sunset shot), and it's nice to be able to get a glimpse of your family happenings in the distant land of San Diego. We still lament your loss of us as neighbors, but never fear, we look forward to seeing you sometime again very soon. Isa would love to see Ellie, that's for seriously certain. Well, we'll end this mini-takover of your blog for now!
We did not hear from you last Sunday and if you don't call this Sunday we will call you and get all the new and wish you a happy aniversary. Roy & Connie
Mermaid Ellie, sounds like great fun in the pool. Keep up the good work. Happy upcoming anniversary. We are glad you are sending info and pictures. Connie & Roy

One of my favorite poems on Motherhood...
Mother, O Mother, come shake out your cloth, Empty the dustpan, poison the moth, Hang out the washing, make up the bed, Sew on a button and butter the bread. Where is the mother whose house is so shocking? She's up in the nursery, blissfully rocking. Oh, I've grown as shiftless as Little Boy Blue, Lullabye, rockabye, lullabye loo. Dishes are waiting and bills are past due Pat-a-cake, darling, and peek, peekaboo The shopping's not done and there's nothing for stew And out in the yard there's a hullabaloo But I'm playing Kanga and this is my Roo Look! Aren't his eyes the most wonderful hue? Lullabye, rockaby lullabye loo. The cleaning and scrubbing can wait till tomorrow But children grow up as I've learned to my sorrow. So quiet down cobwebs; Dust go to sleep! I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep. - Ruth Hulbert Hamilton
Did you know that if you double click with your mouse on (most of) our pictures, they will come up bigger? And just so you know, I am notorious for back-blogging, so check old posts for something new...
